The OPG Group is setting up a 77 MW Coal Fired Power Station near Chennai which is expected to commission by the 2nd quarter of 2009. The Group is also establishing a 2 x 1/35 MW Coal fired Power station in Kutch , Gujarat which will commission in the year 2010. As in the case of the existing power plant of the Group, these new plants will also cater to the energy requirements of Industrial units.
